Demystify Google SEO – User Experience And Responsive Over Keywords and Links
Google ranking is not synonymous with SEO anymore!
We often hear people talk about SEO for Google using keywords and link building. Far too much time is invested in finding good keywords and strategy around building links to your site are developed and implemented. All this to achieve top Google rankings for high traffic.
Although keywords and linking are necessary to an extent, if we base your approach around this any further … then let Google save us!
Back in 2004, this worked brilliantly and yielded massive results for businesses at the time. Around 2007, Google started publicizing audit of their results while after 2011 they officially launched updates with names like #Panda, #Penguin and #Hummingbird that wiped out poor sites from their index. Criteria? Links could be artificially generated, user experience cannot. Keywords can be stuffed in but at cost of natural reading (again bad user experience).
This clearly led to everyone working on making websites appealing to its audience than just focus on getting them high on search by stuffing keywords and building hundreds of links.
Signals from social media are also considered by Google to rank sites on their index (112+ factors go into ranking a website on Google Index)
Sincere request to all netrepreneurs, business owners and SEO service providers to base their strategy around vision of the business (leads, sales, branding, etc). Google and search engines will automatically start ranking you higher based on user experience.
Therefore, SEO is now CEO (Customer User Optimization)
