Find Out 3 IMP Sections of Business Website Overlooked and Reason For Not Getting Sign-Ups
Interesting and Critical Customer Questions and Thoughts from Our Marketing & Sales Campaigns.
Amod and Trupti discuss frequently asked questions by customers during sales calls. The idea is to help customers to understand the underlying importance of having a long term online vision and pursuing it diligently and intelligently to achieve business goals.
“There are no Sign ups happening on my website with new website design?
When we showed the logs that we maintain of web inquiries, she was shocked to see so many inquiries not been addressed on that time.
So that was a case, where they are unaware of inquiries coming to them.
80 percent of SMEs face this problem today. It’s very worrying and I’m so sorry that no one is trying to educate customers on this aspect.
I think one of our key missions with our business is to educate customers Right?
So this is an area where lot of education to the customers have to be done.
There are 3 areas, it’s very shocking fact, 3 sections on your online presence which are closely neglected.
A. Is your website’s E-mail address, which is perishable, it can change keeping changing
B. Your Phone number which again can keep changing
C. Your Website’s Contact form. Just in the contact pages. You enter your name and other details
95% of websites either one of these three don’t work. This is like your shutting the door on your customer. You know that. We’ve seen so many cases where the phone numbers don’t ring, they reach out to dead ends, Emails bounce back or they go to some email box which has been lost in the eternity.
Nobody is checking that. No one cares it. And then the email with contact forms go to some unknown destinations. This is where the problem is.
Just by correcting these three aspects. you can expect a 10 percent jump in your inquiries. Why can’t we do this? Manage these simple things.
Again that’s very perception again, perception is if I have someone who is doing it they must be doing it, and they should do it and let me know. It doesn’t work that way. As a business you have to be involved in that activity. You have to have your review meetings, you have to have your analytics with whom so ever, whether with out-source or in-house whatever with marketing teams. Sit out with them, evaluate this on monthly level depending on the scale of the business, monthly, weekly, bi-weekly you can decide that.
That will give you the real insights into how this is going to work. Otherwise you are going to get shocks like these after three months if you are going to review this and the inquiry had come say in December and we are sitting in Feb, it’s lost it’s a lost opportunity in such a dynamic and competitive world, you cannot lose an opportunity which are on your doorstep. Isn’t it.
Therefore I think businesses need to be more aware, SMEs have to be more aware in terms of being involved in this process and they will see results for themselves. Just doing these 3 things.
