A. Are you talking about exclusive dealers or general dealers?
In this case, it was mainly general dealers who are the mediators.
So they are not the end customers. They get them to meet up customers and get orders for them.
In this case, dealers is a very very interesting subject in itself.
Why Have Your Own Online Presence Other Than Dealers Network as a Sales Channel?
First Aspect: As for growing business dealers are very important. So dealers cannot be avoided. So that we can
really grow fast, but at a certain point it becomes very important that you create your own branding. Because
1. In a very dynamic business scenario like today, talking to the customer is extremely important.
2. With the dealer network in between the kind of filters that are going to get are going to be incorrect information from customers.
3. And therefore staying in tune with their requirements could be a problem and you may lose customers.
Second Aspect: If dealers are really big and since we are talking about general customers you may have your competitor also dealing with them. So then the dealer becomes the kingmaker and he decides whom the orders go to.
Hence, creating your own web presence is so very important. Talking of online I think you need to have your web presence really strong. To be able to talk to the customer directly. So you get your website in place, you have the social presence you have emailers you have a support line.
Where you can really talk to the customer directly. You can run campaigns. See you have got LinkedIn where you can talk to the top boss directly.
