What is one online marketing activity according to your small business must practice, but they don’t do it?
Most SMEs collect customer or prospect information, through visits, calls, even through digital. Right? How many of them use it? That’s the problem.
What really happens is out the prospects or leads that are being generated marketing team focus on them. They make the calls, where they feel that this is the closest that we can get to a customer and therefore let’s keep connecting with them, again and again, to convert them into the sale.
But what about those, who have just passed on some information are they not your prospective customers of the future? That’s the mindset. The mindset should be every lead and every prospect on your file is your future customer. But he will only become your future customer if you’re able to reach out to him consistently so that he can understand what your offerings or service are, how relevant you are in the market whether his requirements are been offered or served by you.
So to be able to do that, that consist connects with your database of customers, the database of prospects is very important. And most small businesses either don’t have enough time or probably don’t have resources. I think it’s about mindset thing. If it’s our business then it has to be done.
So my suggestion here would be for most SMEs to really focus on this part of the activity and that would generate great business growth.
